Image of Curt FongerCASTLE and the PGA Golf Club are delighted to welcome News Anchor Curt Fonger as the Honorary Chair of their golf tournament. His support is greatly appreciated. Asked what motivated him to support this charity event, Curt responded as follows:
"CBS12 and I are pleased to be a part of the Santa Open Golf Tournament. It is especially appropriate during this time of year to be thinking about our children. If you are like me, you have Christmas memories that include "visions of sugar plums" dancing in our heads. Unfortunately, that isn't true for far too many children today. They will endure a holiday season like any other season, a season of need, a season of abuse, a season of fear, another season of stolen joy. All of us can help during this season of giving. And why not spread a little joy amongst ourselves along the way? The Santa Open Golf Tournament is a day for fun and relaxation during what can be a stressful time. Frankly, isn't it worth it to be playing golf while someone else is hanging Christmas decorations and doing the shopping?"
