Knit Wits of PGA Host Teens To Tots Shower for CASTLE Clients

March 1, 2018

On February 27th the Knit Wits of PGA hosted a teens to tots shower to gather donations for CASTLE clients. The Knit Wits are a local craft group in PGA Village who meets weekly to create beautiful creations to donate to local non-profit organizations.

The Knit Wits are long time supporters of CASTLE as volunteers for the Annual Holiday Magic Gala, donors towards the Toy and Food Drive, and have hosted the teen for tots shower for 3 years. The ladies work each week to create beautiful knit sweaters and toys for CASTLE children, each one stitched with love.

The event takes place at the beautifully decorated PGA Village Island Club and attendees can donate their hand crafted items or other donations that could be used for babies all the way to teens. Aside from the donations, the group puts together a beautiful buffet of finger foods and desserts.

CASTLE is thankful for the continuous support from the Knit Wits and thier generosity as they stand with us on our mission to prevent child abuse and neglect and to give to families in the community beautiful toys, blankets, and outfits that were made with love.
